Dear product owner

Dear product owner, Greetings from South African Tourism!

You may have received a call recently from the National Department of Tourism who, in conjunction with South African Tourism, did a data collection drive to confirm numbers of rooms and beds in SA. However, we would like you to enhance your information further! Please would you do this before the end of January 2010.

The more detail you add, the more chance you have of a traveller linking to your establishment on Southafrica.net and enquiring. Please click the link(s) to update and ensure that your establishment details are correct on our National Tourism Database: • http://www.southafrica.net/

Click here to download a help document that describes how to capture each element of information, and how it will display. This also explains the process of verification of your profile once you have updated it. You will also find video tutorials, at this link, which explain each step of this update process: http://www.southafrica.net/nationaltourismdatabase. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Tourism Helpline on 087 803 4636 or email us on updates@ccn.co.za. We have trained staff on standby to assist you. If you have received this email in error, and do not own an establishment, or would like to be removed from the National Tourism Database, please also contact updates@ccn.co.za with this request.

Dear Accommodation provider.

As per the request of the Minister of Tourism, Minister Van Schalkwyk, all Hospitality establishments , no matter the size , are requested to please make use of www.rooms4u.co.za for registration and verification of details on the national database.

Please feel free to follow this link to read the official Media Statement from the Ministers office:

http://www.info.gov.za/speeches/2009/09120911101017.htm

There is no cost involved to register your establishment on the National database for international exposure.
In order to complete this short registration process and participate, you will only require internet access to www.rooms4u.co.za

What’s next?

Updating your property (and completing the verification process) is the first step. The next phase will be to update the system with rooms you have available from 1st March 2010 onwards should you wish to. Once this is done your world-wide exposure to all travelers and potential customers will commence. This will be available to all local and international travelers wishing to reserve and purchase rooms from your establishment during this period.
We hope you will take the time to visit our portal and update your details.
